Forceball Privacy Policy

GripFZN Inc. operates Forceball. This policy explains how we handle information collected through the Forceball app, sensor baseball, and related services.
Information we collect
We collect information provided by coaches and organization users, measurements from the sensor baseball, and technical information generated when the app is used:
・Account and player information: names, email addresses for account holders, organization memberships, player identifiers, and player attributes entered in the app, such as throwing hand.
・Pitching information: grip and session details, notes, timestamps, calibration data, force and pressure measurements, accelerometer and IMU data, and calculated results.
・Optional photographs: grip photographs users choose to take or upload.
・Technical information: device and installation identifiers, hardware and software versions, IP addresses, crash reports, and diagnostic logs, which may include session identifiers.
Coaches may provide information about players who do not have their own account. The app stores information locally for offline use and transfers information to our cloud services.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and organization access, record and analyze pitching sessions, store and synchronize records, provide support, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, and research and improve Forceball.
We may use anonymized pitching measurements and player attributes to train and evaluate machine-learning models within our own AWS account. Training datasets exclude player names and teams and are not traceable to individual players.
Access and service providers
Authorized users within an organization can view that organization's player sessions. GripFZN staff or its contractors may access customer information for support and research.
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for authentication, hosting, storage, and processing, and Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics.
Retention and deletion
We currently retain player records, session information, sensor recordings, and uploaded photographs indefinitely, without a scheduled expiration. Archiving or deleting a record in the app removes it from view but does not permanently erase the underlying information. Removing an account or organization does not automatically erase associated records. Backups and older file versions may also retain copies. Technical logs and provider-held diagnostics follow separate retention periods.
To request correction or deletion of personal information, contact privacy@gripfusion.com. We may verify your identity and will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
Device permissions
Bluetooth access allows the app to communicate with the Forceball baseball. Camera and photo access support optional grip photographs. You can revoke these permissions in device settings; the corresponding features will then be limited. Revoking permissions or uninstalling the app does not delete information previously uploaded.
